Supplemental P.E. Activities


Week of 5/18 to 5/22


I hope everyone is doing well and staying active. I am still waiting for April calendars from some of you.

How to turn in your calendars:

1. Sending it back with your packet if you pick-up and drop-off at PES.
2. Email a picture of your calendar to me at:ca.rath@philomath.k12.or.us

3. PLEASE make sure your NAME & TEACHER are on your calendar.

4. We are now doing the May calendar; there will not be a June calendar.

5. Parents thank you for your help and support.


Suggested Activities:
• Time yourself running from point "A" to point "B".
Then try to beat your time.

• Do 10 push-ups and 10 crunches before breakfast, lunch and dinner.

• Take a nature walk with your family. Look for different types of animals (birds, squirrels, dogs, cats, etc.).

• Do as many mountain climbers/treadmills as you can in 20 seconds (repeat 3 times).

• Roll up a bath towel and jump over it with two feet 15 times. Next, try 15 times with your right foot, then 15 with your left foot.

• Measure your Height & Weight and record your numbers.

• Do a 1-minute sit-up test, someone can hold your feet. You are trying to get 25 or more.

• Do your stretches (butterfly & hurdler) in the morning and evening, count to 12.

• Play Hide-N-Go-Seek outside, take turns being "it".

• Email a THANK YOU MESSAGE to your classroom teacher, tell them how much you appreciate them.

Please, try to do something active each day. Involve your whole family!
